Another senior spotlight is in our midst!


Meet Elijah!


Elijah is a musician and plays the piano, trumpet, and guitar. He wanted to incorporate one of the instruments he plays to show more of his personality and hobby through his pictures.

I always really encourage my seniors to bring at least a prop or two to their sessions. I do so for many reasons:

  1. Props tell a story about the senior and their interests.

  2. Props help the seniors get comfortable with me during their session. Having something to hold or use, keeps them from worrying too much about how to act in front of the camera.

  3. Props help me better understand my seniors.

Elijah graduated high school in 2020. Sadly, his graduation was hindered by COVID-19, but he still was able to celebrate his accomplishment with friends and family.
