As a photographer who mostly does weddings and engagement sessions, I absolutely love switching it up and doing senior sessions!
I love being able to capture a senior's personality and interests during their photoshoot! Just like a couple, I try to capture their unique story in a way that truly showcases who they are.
This is Sarah! She is a senior who goes to high school in Peoria, IL. She loves dressing up, hence her wearing her bomb prom dress! However, Sarah often trades her dress with softball pants. She played softball all the way until her senior year of high school. So, we thought it was fitting to capture both of her loves in her session.
We started her session off in downtown Peoria, IL by the river. We went to some awesome, old abandoned factories to give her photos an urban feel.
The factory above, The Jobst Bethard Company used to be a grocery store that dates back to 1910. Isn't that awesome?!
For the second half of her session, we drove over to the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex to get some softball pictures. We hung up all her jerseys from over the years, from local to travel teams.
We then lined up all her helmets from the years and took this awesome shot!
Some of the dugouts at Lousiville Sluggers had some cool wooden bat displays, so we made sure to take advantage of that!
The Louisville Slugger Sports Complex was just the perfect spot to take Sarah's softball senior photos!
